it was ok, however the agent was very dry and could have made the whole process easier for us. maybe this is just how buying a house is though... i don't know. i didn't come out of this with a warm fuzzy feeling.
(Previous encounter) I have called them numerous times on houses and rentals and never received a call back nor an appointment to go see a house. What is the point of doing business with a Realtor if they can't even answer simple questions or want try and do business with you, by scheduling an appointment or even giving you a call back. It seems to be that way for all real estate agencies in the Saint Mary's Pa area!
Just a few months ago, since no one around the area had anything for rent, Anderson and Kime had a house for sale. We decided to buy, since we were running out of options and not getting original help from them. We however, did not use them as our real estate agent. Anyway, after closing, I was disappointed on the lack of information and knowledge that was given to us about the house. But we still love the house no matter what. It's been almost 2 months after we closed and we just received a call about the pest inspector not being paid. Was told months ago that the listing agent was going to take care of it. Never did. Not only that, I still have the for sale sign in my yard. Just be careful when you buy from this agency. Make sure that you don't receive any unexpected people calling you because they didn't get paid by them.
